Quiet by the River is surrounded by the Periyar river on all sides, and the unique terrain forms natural hollows in the river. These natural pools are ideal for a dip during springtime when the surrounding forest is at its greenest.

Glide down the Periyar River on a country canoe for a most serene sunset. As the sun’s last rays hit the forest, the river glows golden and the birds settle on their roosts for the night.
