DAY 1-5

Delhi has passed through the hands of many empires, all of which have left an indelible imprint on the city’s skyline. Tour the city’s most spectacular monuments and holy shrines, from the towering Qutub Minar to the golden domed Gurudwara Banga Sahib. Experience the buzz of city life at trendy bars and restaurants before you head off to Agra to see India’s most recognized icon, the Taj Mahal. After a dose of Mughal history and architecture, head deep into nature in the Chambal Valley. Explore the spectacular landscape by boat, and spot native wildlife like crocodiles and turtles.

DAY 6-10

In the holy city of Varanasi, the air is charged with spirituality. Witness the grand Ganga Aarti held on the banks of the holy river, when chanting fills the air and the night is lit up with the fires of a hundred lamps. Watch a magical sunrise on the Ganges, and explore the city’s vibrant narrow alleys, lined with craft bazaars and ancient temples. Lucknow is a refined city of art and culture, where you’ll see magnificent Indo-Islamic architecture, meet artisans skilled in fine chikankari handiwork, and sample delicious recipes from the royal kitchens of Awadh.
